If afforded the opportunity to obtain higher education, we encourage our community members to go for it! While obtaining higher learning we provide care packages to students. Packages contain school supplies, hygiene supplies, and non-perishable food items.

You must call by the deadline to receive a pack of diapers. Continue to check our website and social media platforms for upcoming diaper day dates.

Every Tuesday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, the Greater Lake City Community distributes food to low-income citizens who are residents of Lake City, Coward, Scranton, Cades or Olanta. To find out if you qualify, call or email us today! At the GLCCRC our main goal is to fill the hunger needs in Florence County through our supplimental food program. On Tuesdays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm we service lower-income residence of Lake City, Coward, Olanta, Scranton, and Cades. To qualify you must live in those listed areas and receive a aid from government funded program such as; SNAP, WIC, Medicare, Medicaid, or be a Veteran. The Resource Center Community Garden is under our Food Education Program and serves as an educational tool and a source of food security for our clients. We collaborate with local partners to provide educational classes geared towards learning how to grow and harvest in small garden spaces.
